Jake Carroll to Present at the “Construction Law Section: Anatomy of a Construction Project and Key Players” CLE Program
Hosted by: State Bar of Georgia
Atlanta partner Jake Carroll will present “Anatomy of a Construction Project & Key Players” on October 27, as part of the Georgia and Atlanta Bar Construction Sections’ “Construction Law 101” CLE series. This presentation is part of a unique 15-part virtual CLE series jointly presented by the Georgia Bar and Atlanta Bar Construction Sections, taught by industry-leading construction law professionals, and designed to give new and emerging construction lawyers a practical foundation in the fundamentals of construction law. While CLE credit is available only for live attendance, each session is free to attend and recorded for on-demand viewing.
Carroll’s program will walk through the life cycle of a construction project and highlight the key participants: owners, developers, lenders, design professionals, contractors, and subcontractors, and how their relationships define a project’s success.
At Nelson Mullins, Carroll’s practice encompasses every stage of the construction process, counseling manufacturers, developers, lenders, and design professionals on contract negotiation, project delivery, and dispute resolution for industrial and commercial projects nationwide. He is the co-author of the Georgia Construction Law Handbook, a leading treatise published annually, and a past chair of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Construction Section.
