Richard Levin and Brad Rustin will present "Custody of Digital Assets " at Bank Director Magazine's Inspired By Acquire or Be Acquired: What Officers and Directors Need to Know Now virtual conference. 

Their presentation will cover not only the custody of digital assets as a complex problem that has plagued the development of the FinTech industry, but also requirements for financial institutions providing banking services to digital asset providers. The session includes overviews of distributed ledger technology, blockchain technology, digital currencies, digital assets, and wallets. It continues by focusing on recent guidance from the OCC, the SEC’s response, and updates on the state regulation of digital assets.

Levin is chair of the FinTech and Regulation Practice, was one of the first lawyers to focus on the regulation of blockchain and digital assets, and is considered a thought leader in the FinTech space. His practice focuses on helping financial services and technology clients identify and address regulatory issues as they build and grow their businesses.

Rustin (ACAMS, CRCM) chairs the firm’s Financial Services Regulatory Practice and counsels financial institutions and financial services companies in regulatory matters, including strategic agreements, product development, and operational compliance.
