During the webinar, "In the Know with the CFO," Florida CFO, Jimmy Patronis, will discuss issues pertaining to Florida economy and legislative priorities. After the CFO speaks, the panel will discuss the impacts observed to date on the implementation of Florida Statute §517.34 both from a regulatory and financial services industry perspective. The statute allows broker-dealers and investment advisers to delay a disbursement or transaction of funds or securities from an account of a specified adult or an account for which a specified adult is a beneficiary or beneficial owner if they reasonably believes that financial exploitation of the specified adult has occurred, is occurring, has been attempted, or will be attempted in connection with the disbursement or transaction.
