On Dec. 14, Richard Levin, partner and chair of Nelson Mullins’ FinTech and Regulation Practice, will share his insights with hoteliers and hospitality professionals around the world as part of Hospitality Technology’s HT-NEXT 2021. Levin joins Bo Friddell, president of Sunrise Salvador, David Khalif, head of operations at Viridi Funds, and Ron Tarro, executive in residence for SalientVoice Ventures, LLC, for a discussion titled, “Cryptocurrency & Hospitality: The Future is Now.” The panelists will offer an inside look at the rise of cryptocurrency and offer perspectives on the future of cryptocurrency in the hospitality industry – from enhancing payment security and loyalty programs to improving the speed and ease of transactions.

Levin is chair of the FinTech and Regulation Practice and was one of the first lawyers to focus on the regulation of blockchain and digital assets. He is considered a thought leader in the FinTech space. Levin brings his experience as a senior legal and compliance officer on Wall Street and in London to bear in advising clients on corporate, FinTech, securities, and regulatory issues.
