Nashville partner Bob Wade will speak at the Higher Education & Healthcare Research Compliance Conference hosted by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) on June 10–12 in New Orleans, Louisiana. During this conference, attendees will hear from experienced professionals on a broad range of compliance topics, including regulatory updates and how to build a stronger compliance program in higher education and healthcare research.

Wade will speak on the topic, “Research Sponsor Financial Support for Trial Sites and Patient Participants,” where he will discuss the types of financial support that sponsors can offer (and sites can accept) for research trials, including DEI engagement, compliant financial support for patient participants, and compliance issues under the Anti-Kickback Statute and Civil Monetary Penalty Act, including Personal Services Safe Harbor.
