Fort Lauderdale office managing partner Gabe Imperato will moderate the presentation titled "Criminal and Civil Stark and Anti-Kickback Developments" at the Health Care Fraud program hosted by the State Bar of Georgia. Imperato will be joined by Aaron M. Danzig of Arnall Golden Gregory LL, Neeli Ben-David, AUSA of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and Gregory E. Demske of Goodwin Proctor LLP. During this session, the speakers will discuss the new developments and revisions to Stark Law, value-based arrangements, anti-kickback statute, the Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act (EKRA), and cases and advisory opinions related to the topic.

Imperato is the Team Leader of Nelson Mullins Healthcare Criminal and Civil Enforcement, Compliance, and Litigation practice group. He focuses on representing individuals and organizations accused of healthcare fraud and assisting and advising healthcare organizations on corporate governance and compliance matters. He is also certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and the Health Care Compliance Association (SCCE/HCCA).
