Nelson Mullins Fort Lauderdale partner Gabriel Imperato will be speaking at this year’s Health Care Compliance Association’s (HCCA) Virtual Annual Compliance Institute. Imperato will present with Matt Tormey, Chief Compliance Officer of Ensemble Health Partners. Their presentation, "Compliance, Internal Investigations and Self-Disclosure" will overview response to reports of possible non-compliant activity, conducting internal investigations, and options for resolution of responsibility through self-reporting and settlement. The discussion will be held on Wednesday, April 21.

Imperato, a partner at Nelson Mullins is certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and the Health Care Compliance Association (SCCE/HCCA). His practice includes representing people and organizations accused of healthcare fraud and supporting and guiding healthcare organizations on corporate governance and compliance matters.
