“Getting Into and Out of Arbitration: Addressing Domestic and Cross-Border Disputes” will be the topic of the 11th Annual Arbitration Institute at the State Bar of Georgia. Atlanta partner Erika Birg will present “Compelling/Avoiding Arbitration” on Feb. 23 beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Birg focuses her practice on helping companies protect their businesses before, during, and after litigation, with experience in resolving business-to-business disputes through litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and state and federal appeals involving business torts, contract disputes, trade secrets, computer fraud, and non-compete matters.
The Institute brings in experienced advocates and arbitrators to provide skills-oriented training on how arbitrators and counsel can more effectively manage key aspects of the process, determine arbitration jurisdiction, and other issues for arbitrators and advocates in both U.S. and international arbitration.
