Georgia Bar Basic Securities Law Conference: Proxy Season
Atlanta partner Charles Vaughn will provide an in-depth look at proxy season for the Georgia Bar's Basic Securities Law Conference on Jan. 30. Associate Adam Marshall is helping prepare course materials for the address.
Vaughn will give an overview on annual stockholders' meetings and proxy statements, an annual report that companies provide to investors at the requirement of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Vaughn co-chairs Nelson Mullins' securities practice, focusing on corporate finance, securities offerings and regulation, and corporate governance. Marshall is a member of the securities group.
