Join Nelson Mullins on August 6 for another FinTech University series, “FinTech and US Sanctions Programs”, led by Nelson Mullins partners Richard Levin and Henry “Buzz” Burwell.
Currently, the U.S. government maintains a broad spectrum of policies and programs to enforce compliance with its sanctions regulations arising under the enforcement jurisdiction of various federal agencies. It is critical for U.S. and foreign businesses to be aware of these regulations, agencies, and scope of enforcement to assist in protecting the national interest with respect to these regulated industries, commodities, services, destinations, persons, and countries.
Highlights of these areas will be covered in this 45-minute presentation as it relates to FinTech legal services.
Levin leads the firm's FinTech and Regulatory practice group. He advises clients on corporate, FinTech, securities, and regulatory issues.
Burwell is co-leader of the firm’s International practice group, Sanctions practice group, and Defense Industry group. He regularly assists clients on international sanctions, trade, and foreign direct investment issues.
