Raleigh associate Jeffrey Kelly, chair of the of the North Carolina Bar Association's (NCBA) Future of Law Committee, co-organized the live webcast "Ethical Practice in a Virtual World" CLE. NCBA Future of Law and Professionalism Committees expanded and explored ethical issues in a new virtual world. From new challenges in mediation and negotiations, professionalism on virtual platforms, and artificial intelligence, to maintaining physical and mental self in the current climate.
Kelly sat on a panel titled "Regulatory Change in the Practice of Law: National and Local Trends" for this event. He also presented on "The Evolving Practice of Law."
Kelly focuses his practice in the areas of complex litigation, emerging technology, and outside corporate counsel services. He advocates for companies and individuals faced with significant business challenges, most often involving corporate and securities litigation, financial services and fraud, trade secret protection, and unfair trade practices.
