Charlotte partner Lianna Donovan will moderate a panel discussion at the 15th Annual Electronic Discovery Institute (EDI) Leadership Summit in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico, on October 15-17, 2025. Participants at the Summit will meet at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa to network and engage with e-discovery industry leaders and peers and discuss a variety of emerging issues at the intersection of law and technology. 

Donovan’s panel is titled, “Endurance Strategy: Managing Perpetual Legal Holds in Complex Litigation,” and includes panelists Bayer US Discovery Counsel Jesse Burroughs, McDonald’s Corporation eDiscovery Manager Diane Diaz, LPL Financial Assistant Vice President and Associate Counsel Ashley Horn, Johnson & Johnson Senior eDiscovery Manager Sally Kies, and Santee Cooper Attorney Lindsey Whitley. The group will explore practical ways to manage long-term preservation duties, balancing compliance with efficiency while also reducing the cost and burden of ongoing lawsuits.
