In-house speech in-conjunction with the Association of Corporate Counsel

Nelson Mullins attorneys Bret Cohen, Erika Birg, and Robert Sheridan will present a 2018 Employment Law Update in conjunction with the Association of Corporate Counsel – Northeast on May 10 at Nelson Mullins’ Boston Office, One Post Office Square, 30th Floor. In-house counsel and those with responsibilities for hiring key talent and ensuring compliance with important employment statutes and regulatory provisions should attend. Attendance will also benefit those who need to understand how to protect important company IP-related information in the event of employee departures.

Cohen chairs the Nelson Mullins Labor and Employment Practice. His practice covers a range of industries in the drafting and enforcement of non-compete, confidentiality, and other employment-related agreements throughout the United States. Birg leads litigation teams in complex commercial litigation cases in arbitration and in court involving fraud, trade secret misappropriation, misuse of intellectual property, defamation, breach of fiduciary duties, and breach of contract claims. Sheridan’s practice encompasses a variety of litigation matters, with an emphasis on litigation and counseling on federal and state labor and employment issues.
