David Wilkins will give the keynote address and participate in a panel at the Canadian/American Border Trade Alliance's (Can/Am BTA) Washington, D.C. conference on Oct. 8. Wilkins practices with the firm's government relations team and served as U.S. ambassador to Canada from June 2005 to January 2009.
In his keynote address, Wilkins will give his insights on the overview and direction of the Canada-U.S. trade relationship. Along with other Can/Am BTA Senior Advisory Board members, Wilkins will also speak as a member of the "Insights and Opportunities" panel. As a broad, bi-national grassroots movement, Can/Am BTA comprises business segments, private sector, and public sector organizations involved in the two countries' trade and visitation policies, with involvement from 27 states on or near the U.S.-Canada border. Nelson Mullins is a sponsor of the conference.
