ANA Masters of Advertising Law Conference

Nelson Mullins is proud to sponsor the upcoming Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Masters of Advertising Law Conference taking place November 3-5 in Chicago. 

Partner Jim Dudukovich, co-chair of Nelson Mullins' Advertising, Marketing, Sponsorship & Promotions practice group, will lead a session at the conference discussing how the consumer review and endorsement space has evolved, along with panelists Monique Lee Hawthorne (Airbnb), Theresa Harris (Target), and Brad Shear (Monks). 

The panel will discuss the Federal Trade Commission's Rule on Consumer Reviews and Testimonials, updates to its Endorsement Guides, and the growing number of regulatory and class-action challenges related to allegedly deceptive uses of reviews and endorsements. In addition to providing an update on the current legal landscape, this session will offer important guidance businesses can use to stay compliant, whether working with influencers or soliciting, publishing, or amplifying consumer reviews.
