Nelson Mullins partner Jonathan Huber will serve as a panelist at a joint section conference of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) and the Young Lawyers Division in New York City on May 4, 2023. Huber will discuss what makes attorneys indispensable to a trial team and share his advice to aspiring trial lawyers striving to be in the first chair.
The panel will cover fundamental topics necessary for successful trials including case management and logistics, handling and arguing exhibits and evidence, technology, witness preparation, trial strategy, client management, and courtroom interaction.
Huber will join fellow panelists Michelle McClafferty, senior attorney with Lawrences & Bundy LLC; Taryn Basauri of Corr Cronin LLP; Tiffani Collins of Collins Legal Group LLC; Kye C. Handy of Balch & Bingham LLP; and moderator Steven C. Corhern, partner at Balch & Bingham LLP.
Huber currently serves as a senior member of the national coordinating counsel team for a Fortune 200 consumer products company embroiled in talcum powder litigation and coordinates the company’s defense nationwide on a host of issues, including discovery, corporate designee witness testimony, experts, and trial workup. He has extensive experience managing complex litigation through its entire lifecycle from initial complaint to trial.
