Houston partner Darren Skyles will participate in the AI for Healthcare Leaders hosted by Medical Intelligence 10 (MD 10) in Houston on April 19. This one-day conference will teach attendees how to transform their organizations and prepare for an AI-enabled future. 

Skyles will participate in the discussion "AI in Healthcare: Challenges and Opportunities," which will provide an understanding of the main challenges to AI governance by examining the process of integrating AI in healthcare. The discussion will include:

• Explainability of AI to help members of your organization understand its benefit
• Fairness to ensure the solutions are being implemented in a non-biased way
• Safety to verify that the AI solution is making decisions that protect humans and property
• Human-AI collaboration to examine how humans can use AI to guide their decisions and how humans can feed their insights back into AI to improve outcomes
