Nelson Mullins Co-Chair of the firm's White Collar & Government Investigations practice group Jon Sale will be on a panel at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) 40th annual White Collar Crime Institute in Miami, Florida on March 7. Sale will speak on the panel, “Ethics - Redux of Challenges to the Rule of Law and Other Ethics Issues for the White Collar Practitioner - Obligations of the Legal Community.”
Sale is among the distinguished panelists who will explore the positive steps that can be taken to ensure compliance with ethical rules and the preservation of the rule of law. Among the many topics on the agenda, they will analyze the ethical obligations of white collar practitioners in light of ongoing challenges to the rule of law in the criminal justice system.
Since its establishment, the Institute has been attended by leading federal and state judges and prosecutors, law enforcement officials, defense attorneys, corporate in-house counsel, and members of the academic community. In recent years, federal regulators and enforcers have chosen to announce new polices and initiatives at the Institute, reflecting its status as a premier gathering of white collar legal professionals.
