2026 Updates on Key Crypto Litigation

Hosted by: Digital Assets at Duke Conference

Raleigh partner Jeff Kelly and Ryan VanGrack, Global Head of Litigation for Coinbase, will return to co-present the annual “Updates on Key Crypto Litigation” panel at the 2026 Digital Assets at Duke Conference.

The Digital Assets at Duke Conference brings together financial professionals, regulators, policymakers, technologists, academics, and legal experts to examine the rapidly evolving landscape of digital assets through evidence-based dialogue and analysis. Kelly is a member of the conference’s Steering Committee.

This year’s update will examine significant shifts in US enforcement policy and litigation trends, including the SEC’s withdrawal of high-profile enforcement actions, state securities regulators’ continued enforcement activity, and emerging trends in private litigation.

Kelly focuses his practice on emerging technologies, particularly in areas involving data analytics, artificial intelligence, digital assets, and FinTech. He works closely with entrepreneurs and companies to effectively navigate changing technology regulations, government investigations, and complex corporate governance challenges. Kelly also serves as a Fellow of Duke University School of Law’s Center on Law and Technology.
