Nelson Mullins partner Phil Busman is a guest speaker at the upcoming 2024 International Corporate Counsel College conference in Istanbul, Turkey. Hosted by the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), the annual event brings in-house counsel and law firm counterparts together for an in-depth discussion on the latest legal issues affecting global companies.  

The theme of this year’s event is Our World in Crisis. Phil will speak on the panel, “This Dispute Won’t Go Away. Now What?” held on Sept. 27.  

Modelled after the IADC Corporate Counsel College held in the United States each year, this meeting provides the opportunity for in-house counsel and their advisors to spend time with others who face similar issues and gain knowledge together.

Phil is a seasoned litigator based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. He routinely represents multi-national corporations and industry leaders in consolidated and serial litigation as well as high-profile individual matters with a focus on sectors including pharmaceutical/medical device, tech, manufacturing, and defense. Phil is particularly known for his effective cross-examination of opposing experts across all disciplines and aptitude for implementing comprehensive strategies for his clients.
