Nelson Mullins partners John McElwaine and Chris Casavale will present at the upcoming 2024 ACC South Carolina Annual Meeting. They will lead the panel, “Protecting Your Brand Online: Recent Developments and Strategies,” alongside Brett Vigrass from Ignite Digital Services. The panel discussion will focus on the latest trends of infringement and fraud impacting brands and delve into the new and existing tools to monitor and address these issues.    

McElwaine is the office managing partner in Charleston, South Carolina. He focuses his practice on intellectual property, Internet, domain name and technology litigation, and strategic counseling. He works with clients in various industries to develop, advise, and implement online intellectual property policing campaigns as well as brand protection measures on the Internet and within online social media networks. 

Casavale is also an IP attorney and focuses his practice in the areas of trademark, copyright, domain name law, and strategic counseling.
