Two Nelson Mullins partners will speak during three panels at the Board & Audit Committee Compliance Conference hosted by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCAA). The event aims to equip attendees with the tools and knowledge required to meet compliance oversight expectations effectively.
Nelson Mullins’ Fort Lauderdale managing partner Gabriel Imperato will be co-leading two sessions: "Compliance and the False Claims Act: Risks and Consequences" and "Internal Investigations, Overpayments, and Self-Disclosure."
Atlanta partner Gina Greenwood will be speaking during the panel titled "Healthcare Privacy & Security: Breach Response."
The conference supports HCAA's goal to champion ethical practice and compliance standards in all organizations and to provide the necessary resources for compliance professionals. Additional panels will offer insights into improving board performance in compliance oversight, staying informed about regulatory risks and obligations, understanding the significance of internal reporting, and enhancing overall compliance program performance.
The conference will be held at The Dalmar in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
