Columbia partner Weston Adams will lead and speak at a session during the 2018 South Carolina Clean Energy Summit on the past, current, and future legislation that affects the state's future in clean energy. Adams is a SCCEBA board member and co-chairs the Firm's Energy Industry group. The summit will be held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Dec. 18.
Other session participants include Jason Elliot, Kirkman Finlay, and Russell Ott from the South Carolina House of Representatives and state Senator Brad Hutto. These policymakers will give insights on what to expect for energy legislation especially regarding Act 236, which supports the adoption and integration of renewable energy methods.
