ATLANTA – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP Atlanta attorney Jake Carroll co-authored the 2021 edition of the Georgia Construction Law Handbook. In his preface, Carroll highlights the Handbook’s usefulness to both legal and non-legal readers:
"This 2021 edition of the Georgia Construction Law Handbook endeavors to keep the bench and bar apprised of developments in Georgia case law and legislation affecting the construction industry, and continue the legacy started by Bart Gary with the publication of the first edition in 2012. I hope that it will continue to be used by construction and design professionals as a ready reference to common issues such as regulatory matters and the collection of money using the mechanic’s lien law or the public works bond laws. The book is limited to Georgia law on the topics as set forth in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated and reported state and federal court decisions applying Georgia law."*
