Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation Appoints Jeff Perry to Board of Directors

ATLANTA–The Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation has appointed Jeff Perry, an attorney in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough’s Atlanta office, to its board of directors for a three-year term. The foundation is the philanthropic affiliate of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department and provides essential equipment, training, and community engagement to enhance the department’s resources.

Perry is a former firefighter and served as deputy chief of a volunteer fire department in the Washington, D.C. area while practicing law in the nation’s capital. He is a corporate attorney and has significant experience working with a wide range of companies at all stages of their life cycle, from incorporation to exit, and is a member of the firm’s premier Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice.

“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to assist the foundation and the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department in making Atlanta a safe, prepared, and nationally leading city in fire safety and protection,” Perry said.

The Foundation recently completed a pay study recommending a new pay tier system for the department and hosts Camp Ignite, a training program for young women. The group also holds the Breakfast With Our Bravest, an annual awards ceremony honoring the brave men and women of the department.
