“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to assist the foundation and the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department in making Atlanta a safe, prepared, and nationally leading city in fire safety and protection,” Perry said.
The Foundation recently completed a pay study recommending a new pay tier system for the department and hosts Camp Ignite, a training program for young women. The group also holds the Breakfast With Our Bravest, an annual awards ceremony honoring the brave men and women of the department.
