Jennifer D. Malinovsky is a partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in Atlanta where she practices primarily in the areas of healthcare, finance, and corporate law. Ms. Malinovsky represents individual and institutional healthcare providers with organizational and operational issues, mergers and acquisitions, managed care contracting, business management and planning, certificates of need, insurance and licensure matters, general contract negotiation and state and federal fraud and abuse issues. Ms. Malinovsky also has real estate finance experience representing both borrowers and lending institutions with various types of commercial property leases and acquisitions and the financing of such transactions.

A member of the State Bar of Georgia, Ms. Malinovsky is also a member of the American Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers. In addition, she is the chairperson of the Advisory Committee of the Health Law Partnership, a community collaboration among Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Georgia State College of Law, and Atlanta Legal Aid. Ms. Malinovsky served as the Chair of the Firm’s Recruiting Committee (2004-2007) and was a member of the Firm’s Diversity Committee (2005-2007). She is a member of the Wake Forest School of Law Board of Visitors.

Ms. Malinovsky earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1992 and a Master of Business Administration from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University in 1992. During law school, she was an executive member of the Moot Court Board and served as editor of the Business Law Symposium for the Wake Forest Law Review. Her case law note was published in the Wake Forest Law Review. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Ms. Malinovsky earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, cum laude, from Furman University in 1988.
