Rachel Atkin Hedley is of counsel to Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP and practices in Columbia in the areas of general commercial and business litigation. She is admitted to practice in New York, South Carolina, and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, Ms. Hedley was law clerk to the Honorable Roslyn O. Silver, U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona from 1996-1997, and was an associate practicing in the areas of commercial and intellectual property litigation in the New York office of Baker & Botts, L.L.P. from 1997-1999.
Ms. Hedley earned a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 1996, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, magna cum laude, from Princeton University in 1993. Ms. Hedley was a National Merit Scholar, and was awarded the Honor Prize for her Thesis in Ethics at Princeton and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences Joint Degree Scholarship for studies in law/philosophy while at New York University.
