A. Mattison “Matt” Bogan is an associate of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP who practices in Columbia in the areas of appellate law and business litigation.

 

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Bogan served as a law clerk for the Honorable Chief Justice Jean H. Toal of the South Carolina Supreme Court.

Mr. Bogan is the co-author of "Arbitration: Alive and Delivering Results in South Carolina," South Carolina Lawyer, September 2008.
 

Mr. Bogan is admitted to practice in South Carolina. He is a member of the Richland County Bar and the American Bar Association. He currently serves on the South Carolina Bar Association’s Law School Task Force.

 

Mr. Bogan earned a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004. While in law school, Mr. Bogan was inducted as a member of the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court, elected President of the Student Bar Association, and served as a member of the Southeastern Environmental Law Journal. In 2001, Mr. Bogan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Wofford College.
