Experience

  • Provides counsel to developers and builders in the real estate development process, including platting of subdivisions and preparing, negotiating and reviewing development agreements, easement agreements and various other contracts.  
  • Has experience forming and evaluating property owners associations and homeowners associations to address operational and maintenance aspects of real estate projects.  
  • Has represented borrowers and lenders in the financing of real estate in connection with acquisition loans, construction loans, loan refinancing and loan modifications and loan workouts. 
  • Experienced in reviewing title commitments and policies and resolving complex title and survey matters.  

Previous Professional Experience

  • Previously served as assistant general counsel for a privately held real estate developer, responsible for real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, corporate matters, and joint venture transactions for residential, multi–family, commercial, and mixed–use projects.
