Experience

  • Practice has included defense of product liability actions against a broad assortment of product manufacturers, ranging from manufacturers in the asbestos, automotive, and baby products industries to manufacturers in the material handling, tire, and wood products industries
  • Has been associated in complex litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the United States and has tried cases to verdict throughout the United States
  • Has represented the interests of premises owners in an assortment of cases, including a mass shooting case in which the corporate workplace violence prevention program was called into question
  • Has defended class actions and false claims cases and has litigated a wide variety of commercial cases
  • Has been court-appointed to serve on the defense liaison committee in cases consolidated for multidistrict treatment by the MDL Panel
  • Has practiced before eight different state and federal appellate courts
  • Has participated in an appeal to the United States Supreme Court in which case the Court unanimously reversed a lower federal appellate court on issues involving the international carriage of goods
