Representative Matters

  • Successfully negotiated the voluntary dismissal of a slip and fall claim against a client after filing a Motion to Dismiss for Fraud on the Court, by agreeing to not pursue a claim for attorney’s fees in exchange for the voluntary dismissal of the claim prior to a hearing on the motion.
  • Obtained summary judgment for a client that operated a towing business based on a statute granting immunity to tow operators when asked by law enforcement to remove a vehicle after a written inventory of personal effects is completed by an officer, despite there being no case law on the applicable statute.
  • Served on the team that was granted summary judgment for a university based on a signed exculpatory clause which waived all ability to bring claims arising out of participation in the football program, including the wrongful death claims of a 19-year-old football player with an undiagnosed heart condition.
