Jenny’s practice focuses on the defense of product liability, class action, mass tort, commercial litigation, and intellectual property matters. She has represented well-known medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers in high-profile claims, often involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death. She also has experience defending automotive and consumer product manufacturers. Jenny has chaired six complex trials, has had significant stand up time in other major product liability trials, and has defended numerous appeals.

Notably, Jenny played a key role in the California Judicial Council Coordination Proceedings infusion pump litigation, including a bellwether trial. She has also managed several large regional teams in the work-up of one of the largest medical device coordinated proceedings in history, as well as serving as the point person for all expert work-up in several other coordinated proceedings. She has worked extensively in a virtual law firm model in which the client's defense in multidistrict litigation is coordinated between multiple different firms.

Jenny has defended Class I, II and III medical device products such as infusion pumps and related products, implantable cardiac care devices, neuro-interventional devices, HA gels, mesh products, light source therapy devices, laser and cryoablation therapy devices, blood product storage units and cold therapy units, to name a few. Part of her medical device practice also focuses on issues in general causation, specific causation, neuroscience, preemption and medication administration errors. Jenny’s undergraduate degree in Microbiology provides a strong foundation for this work.

Additionally, Jenny represents clients in matters regarding arbitration and mediation, as well as advising clients on how to avoid litigation and minimizing potential risk.
