  • Routinely handles all types of employment law litigation in both state and federal court, including whistleblower and retaliation claims, claims under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Federal Civil Rights Act, the Fair Housing Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, wage and hour disputes, and state and local employment laws
  • Experienced handling cases before the FCHR and the EEOC
  • Assists her clients with employment law and human resource issues such as hiring, firing, discipline, wage and hour issues, wrongful discharge, claims avoidance, drafting and interpreting employment contracts, separation agreements, trade secret and non-competition agreements, and internal investigations 
  • Experience reviewing, drafting, and updating employee handbooks for clients
  • Conducts in-house training for employees and management regarding employment law issues such as harassment and discrimination
  • Has appellate experience in diverse subject areas including commercial disputes, educator licensing, and products liability
