  • Experienced as counsel for Unsecured Creditors Committees
  • Served as consultant for bankruptcy courts in New York and Puerto Rico
  • Served as a bankruptcy consultant in the Slovak Republic, Republic of Macedonia, the Republic of Armenia, and Bulgaria

Representative Cases

  • Served as expert witness in bankruptcy malpractice cases
  • Represented creditor-claimant in a matter in which the court held that creditor was barred from objecting to creditor's claim under doctrine of res judicata, claim preclusion, collateral estoppel, equitable estoppel, and waiver
  • Represented a power company in a case in which the court held that the debtor could not avoid the post-petition contract with power company and that the power company was allowed a multimillion dollar administrative claim
  • Represented buyer of assets at a bankruptcy sale on the issue of prepetition liability surviving a bankruptcy sale
  • Represented a client wherein the court held that the debtor/trustee was barred, by judicial estoppel, from pursuing an unscheduled cause of action that was also not disclosed in disclosure statement and plan
