  • Litigated construction-related disputes, lien claims and construction defect claims in courts/arbitrations in multiple jurisdictions
  • Drafted and negotiated construction contracts utilizing AIA, ASCE, and other standard form agreements as well as custom contracts for construction contracting and supply of construction-related materials
  • Construction matters in value industries such as automobile and heavy machinery manufacturing facilities, alternative energy facilities such as biomass and solar, traditional energy facilities such as natural gas pipelines, laboratories, airports, breweries/restaurants, and warehouses/storage facilities
  • Assisted developers and owners with business-related disputes connected to construction of commercial/industries facilities, such as disputes over development fees and business break-ups
  • Assisted developers and owners with construction licensing matters
  • Represent statewide charter school district serving 20,000+ students related to all legal issues, including charter approvals, revocation, renewals, and transfers as well as all day-to-day operational matters and board governance
  • Represent state property and casualty guaranty association and state wind and hail association, providing advice related to insurance insolvencies and claims handling related to property and casualty claims
