  • Assistant City Attorney, City of Atlanta Department of Law (2014-2017)
    • Assisted with the sale of Underground Atlanta and the Atlanta Civic Center
    • Represented the Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative in its lease of incubator space in the Flatiron Building
    • Helped to develop the City’s Affordable Housing Ordinance
    • Wrote the Atlanta Streetcar’s advertising policy
  • Real Estate Litigation Associate, Alpharetta-based law firm (2010-2014)
    • Litigated title curative actions (quiet title, declaratory judgment, and reformation actions) as claims counsel for several large, national title insurance companies
    • Represented various property owners’ associations as claims counsel for national D&O insurance carrier
    • Defended banks and lenders against claims of wrongful foreclosure
    • Served as outside general counsel for a national reverse mortgage lender
