  • For more than 20 years, she has counseled healthcare clients in the development, implementation, and effectiveness assessments of corporate compliance and ethics programs
  • Guided health care providers through the process necessary to comply with the detailed requirements of government–imposed Corporate Integrity Agreements, by drafting policies, advising on reporting obligations, and monitoring mandated audits of independent review organizations
  • Represented buyers and sellers of home health agencies, senior living facilities, medical equipment companies, and hospices
  • Assisted healthcare providers with appeals of government actions, such as Medicare revocations, reimbursement denials and overpayment determinations
  • Conducted internal investigations for providers facing allegations of non–compliance
  • Designed and conducted comprehensive reviews of the effectiveness of compliance programs for healthcare companies, as required under Corporate Integrity Agreements and as directed by companies’ governing bodies
