As part of a presentation on Thursday, Sept. 14 to the Iowa Defense Counsel Association, Nelson Mullins partner Marc E. Williams authored an article titled, "Artificial Intelligence on the Civil Defense Lawyer," alongside summer associate Anna Williams. The insight dives in to the impacts of the increasingly prevalent use of AI and how it could impact lawyers today.
"A technological transformation in the legal industry is afoot," Marc Williams wrote. "To survive it, the legal profession must examine its practices and requisite professional skills. This article takes a multifaceted approach toward analyzing the impact of AI on the civil defense lawyer."
