Washington, D.C. partner Terri Reiskin will present at the American Conference Institute’s (ACI) 28th Annual Conference on Drug and Medical Device Litigation on Dec. 6 in New York City. Reiskin will be on a panel discussing, "Advanced Settlement Strategies for Drug and Device Product Liability Class Actions and MDLs," on the second day of this two-day event.
Along with her co-panelists, Greg Dadika with Boehringer Ingelheim, Russell “Chip” Gaudreau with King and Spalding LLP, and Elizabeth Mitchell with firm client Smith and Nephew, Inc., Reiskin will discuss challenges faced in drug and device product liability mass action and MDL settlements and strategies for these challenges, class settlement trends in differing jurisdictions, settlement agreements and settlement benefits, and much more.
Reiskin is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on class action defense and mass torts, including lead counsel in MDLs and serving as national coordinating counsel. Her work centers on product-related litigation, particularly in the automotive and medical device industries, and includes the defense of numerous consumer class actions in courts around the country.
The ACI Conference on Drug and Medical Device Litigation has been an occasion where pharmaceutical and medical device companies and their outside counsel can network and share innovative ideas for nearly three decades. Attendance in recent years has broken records for this highly regarded event in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
