BOSTON – Christine M. Kingston, Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough associate, has been appointed by the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts (WBA) to co-chair the Women in the Courtroom Committee.
The WBA is where women lawyers in Massachusetts come together to build important personal and professional relationships. The WBA is about women helping women by offering leadership opportunities, rewarding work through committees, a networking forum for business development, and more. Their purpose is to achieve the full and equal participation of women in every aspect of society and the WBA believes a strong community of women lawyers is essential to the administration of justice.
The WBA Women in the Courtroom Committee offers opportunities for networking, informal mentoring, education, and information sharing. Civil litigators, prosecutors and public defenders, legal services lawyers, family lawyers and everyone else who finds herself in adversary proceedings from any side for all or part of her practice are welcome, including mediators and judges.
Kingston practices in state and federal trial and appellate courts, focusing on complex business litigation, commercial disputes, and consumer financial services litigation. She routinely represents national banks, mortgage investors, and loan servicers against state and federal claims and in the pre-litigation demand phase.
