ATLANTA – Associate Ryan Dardard of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Atlanta office has been selected as a fellow for the Good Counselor Fellowship program through Napa Legal. This program assists young lawyers by intersecting virtues and community service through legal work, and studying works of literature, philosophy, and history. The fellowship is a seven-month program where fellows will be a part of 14 sessions, that include both academic seminars and conversations with influencers and practitioners who work for the betterment of society.

According to the website, Napa Legal is an organization that provides corporate, tax, and other non-litigation legal and financial education to assist faith-based nonprofits. To be selected to the Good Counselor Fellowship, attorneys must have less than five years of experience, and should have a background in transactional law and a demonstrated interest in religious liberty.

Dardard focuses his practice on commercial finance and real estate capital markets. He primarily represents lenders in commercial real estate transactions. He represents national CMBS lenders, commercial banks, and other fixed-income lenders in corporate and real estate finance transactions, including CMBS loans, bridge loans, and balance sheet loans.
