“I am grateful for this honor and excited about becoming involved in the forward-looking work of the NCIOM,” said Markus, who represents healthcare providers and technology organizations on a broad array of healthcare regulatory compliance and transactional matters. Through her client and professional association work, Markus has developed a keen interest in healthcare policy issues, including those surrounding medical privacy, behavioral health, and payment and coverage matters.
“We are pleased to welcome these new members to the NCIOM,” said Dr. Adam Zolotor, president and CEO of the NCIOM. “We look forward to working with them to continue the mission of the Institute, seeking constructive solutions to statewide problems that impede the improvement of health and efficient and effective delivery of healthcare for all North Carolinians.”
