Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP has been recognized by the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service for its dedication to pro bono service through its participation in ABA Free Legal Answers. The firm answered 341 civil legal questions in 2022 for the program, which is an online virtual legal clinic allowing income-eligible clients to post civil legal services questions. The answers are provided by pro bono attorneys from their jurisdiction.
According to the organization, the committee presents the ABA Free Legal Answers Pro Bono Leaders recognitions to individual attorneys, law firms, corporate law departments, and other organizations that have provided extraordinary pro bono services through ABA Free Legal Answers, the organization said.
