CHARLOTTE– Drake University Law School has selected Nichole Hayden, of counsel in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Charlotte office, for its Board of Counselors. The Board seeks to advance the cause of legal education and promote the interests of Drake Law School.
Hayden is a registered patent attorney and practices in the Intellectual Property Group, with a focus on helping clients obtain patent protection for inventions and registrations for trademarks that effectively protect their brand. Hayden received a J.D. from Drake University Law School with highest honors in 2004.
The Board of Counselors is an association of distinguished alumni and attorneys who meet three times during the academic year to discuss issues related to the Law School and serve as advisors to the dean, according to the organization.
