The U.S. Senate today confirmed the nomination of A. Marvin Quattlebaum Jr., a partner in the Greenville office of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, to the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Mr. Quattlebaum, 53, currently serves on the law firm’s Executive Committee and is resident in the Firm’s Greenville office.
A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Mr. Quattlebaum is a veteran trial lawyer who focuses his practice serving as regional counsel and national counsel defending high risk and exposure products liability cases.
“We are so very proud of Marvin. Throughout his entire career, he has given back to the profession, so we are not surprised that he has been asked to make another commitment to help administer justice in the federal bar,” said Nelson Mullins Managing Partner Jim Lehman. “Marvin has been a wonderful partner and made a remarkable contribution to our firm, the Bar and the community, and I am sure that he will be an outstanding federal judge.”
