HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (August 24, 2017)–Marc E. Williams, managing partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s West Virginia office, recently was recognized by three organizations:
The West Virginia University College of Law and West Virginia Executive magazine have selected him as among their 2017 Lawyers and Leaders Award winners. "The honorees are a group of hardworking, generous individuals, and their success is evident in their accomplishments and their community involvement," said Gregory Bowman, dean of the College of Law. Mr. Williams has served as the president of three national legal organizations: DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar, Lawyers for Civil Justice, and the National Foundation for Judicial Excellence.
Also, The Best Lawyers in America® 2018 has recognized Mr. Williams as “Lawyer of the Year” in the Charleston/Huntington, W.Va. area for his appellate practice. “Lawyers of the Year” received the most votes from among their peers to earn the recognition.
