Nelson Mullins Lawyers Named to Law360 Editorial Advisory Boards

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Legal Publisher Law360 has chosen Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP Los Angeles Managing Partner Richard Otera and Raleigh Partner Ariel Roberson for its 2021 Legal Transportation and Sports & Betting Editorial Advisory Boards, respectively.

The boards provide feedback on the legal news media’s coverage and thought leadership on future coverage of the legal industry and the financial services industry.

Otera serves as managing partner of Nelson Mullins’ Los Angeles office. He has worked in the automotive and electronics industries for nearly 20 years, as general counsel at American Honda Motor Co. and as general counsel of the Americas at Sumitomo Electric Industries.

Roberson focuses on business litigation, which includes complex commercial disputes, employment law, and financial services matters. Her sports law practice includes counselling professional athletes regarding various business-entity-related issues. The practice stems from her background as a professional soccer player with Boston Breakers and a NCAA Division 1 National Champion with the UNC Women’s Soccer team.

Established in 1897, Nelson Mullins is an AmLaw100 firm with more than 800 attorneys and government relations professionals with offices in 11 states and Washington, DC. For more information on the firm, go to www.nelsonmullins.com.
