Nelson Mullins’ Jason Gold To Lead National Bankruptcy Trustees Group

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Nelson Mullins Washington, DC partner H. Jason Gold recently began a one-year term as president of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. Gold chairs the firm’s National Bankruptcy Practice Group.

The National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees is the voice of the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee community, serving its members and the public through education, advocacy, and communication. Bankruptcy trustees are appointed to oversee and administer the nearly half-million Chapter 7 cases filed each year as well as numerous Chapter 11 cases.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Gold has been a trustee since 1989 and has been appointed to more than 30,000 cases.
