Chief Judge D. Thomas Schroeder has appointed Winston-Salem partner Mark Stafford for a three-year term on the Patent Rules Committee for the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
As a member of the committee, Stafford will work with federal judges to establish rules and procedures for efficient and prompt management of complex federal patent infringement cases across a 24-county area of central North Carolina. Stafford has practiced commercial litigation for over thirty years, particularly in the areas of business, healthcare, employment, and complex technology litigation. He has been recognized by such publications as Acritas and Best Lawyers in America.
