Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP is pleased to announce that Jiyun Lauren Seo has joined the firm as of counsel in Atlanta. Lauren will be the newest member of the International and Immigration Team. Prior to Nelson Mullins, Lauren represented small and medium sized companies as well as Fortune 500 companies from various sectors, including media, entertainment, finance, construction, information technology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare services. As such, she has experience providing comprehensive business immigration solutions in relation to nonimmigrant visas and employment-based green card applications. Moreover, Lauren has advised corporate clients regarding compliance with Department of Labor and U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) regulations, including I-9 compliance.

Lauren is fluent in Korean, having lived in Seoul, Korea until she was 19 years old. She earned her BA in Political Science with University Honors from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and her JD from Fordham Law School located in New York City, New York.
